SOE has to announced through their facebook page that they will be adding more servers to meet the demands of European players who received the game this week.

DC Universe Online Worldwide on January 11, 2011 - Release Date
"Creating DC Universe Online has been a massive undertaking, and we're excited to be that much closer to launch," said Christopher Cao, Game Director of DCUO for Sony Online Entertainment.
