Acquiring Facebook Email Address

First thing to do is visit  http://www.facebook.com/about/messages and click the "Go to messages"

Now click on the "Claim your Facebook email" wherein you are given an option to pick a public username that will automatically serve as your facebook email address. Once decided, click the "Activate email".

For those who already have a personalized facebook domain name, all you have to do is click the "Activate Email" and you are all set.

As simple as that and you now have freedom to send/receive messages from other email account provider. This is a good way to get in touch with your loved ones (who are addicted to facebook), especially for people who doesn't have a facebook account or not that active with social networking sites.
